In preparation for the WIOA 2024-2027 State Plan, the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board conducted a statewide listening tour. From July 2023 through to the end of October 2023, all ten Kentucky Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDA) contributed by hosting focus groups. The KWIB appreciates the contributions from the state and local workforce development board members, businesses, elected officials, individual customers, and stakeholders who participated.

PY23 Annual Narrative
Program Year 2023 (PY23) coincided with the planning and submission of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 2024-2027 State Plan. The elements of the PY23 narrative reflect many of the strategies put in place in the WIOA State Plan that highlight the structure in the commonwealth.
